DAN MOORE PROJECT UPDATE:

We are happy to announce the approval of Resolution No. 79-2009 to change the name of "Textile Street" at Shelby High School to "Dan Moore Way" by unanimous vote by the Shelby City Council on November 16th, 2009 in recognition and remembrance of Dan Moore - SHS's principal from 1971 - 1979! Look for the street signs after Wednesday November 25, 2009.

We will be issuing a challenge to the Classes of 1971 - 1978 to match our contributions to the scholarship fund after our reunion. Anyone wanting to make a donation towards the Dan Moore schloarship fund, please make your donation check payable to SHS Reunion Account c/o Dora Ley and note "Dan Moore Scholarship Fund" on the memo line and send to below address.
